Tuscola Intermediate School District provides all education related services to adult students who reside at the Caro Center. The Caro Center is a state operated facility that provides long term in-patient psychiatric services to adults aged 18 and older.

Pioneer Work and Learn is owned and operated by Wolverine Human Services.  The facility is located just outside of Vassar, Michigan.  Pioneer Work and Learn provides a variety of treatment programs to both male and female youth, generally aged 12-19.  Vassar Public Schools provides the general education programming for the facility and Tuscola Intermediate School District works cooperatively with Vassar Public Schools to provide all special education programs and services.
