Tuscola County offers high-quality preschool programs for 3 and 4-year-old children. Tuscola County offers both the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP), which is a state-funded program, and Head Start, which is federally funded. Both are free preschool programs and part of Michigan's Prek For All initiative. Programs are offered throughout the county, most offering transportation, and all include free meals.
