The Tuscola Intermediate School District provides specialized transportation services for many of the students attending the Highland Pines School. Tuscola Intermediate School District supports the agricultural community through the use of BioDiesel fuel in all school buses! We converted to this clean burning fuel in August of 2004.

In 2016, the Tuscola Intermediate School District vans traveled 106,000 miles transporting students throughout the community. The buses cover 800 square miles twice daily, or about 300,000 miles per year. The district buses and vans use about 40,000 gallons of fuel per year.

Our policy is that if your local area school district is closed then our buses will not transport students even if our district is opened.
